If you are using Facebook to build on your online brand and implement your social media strategy, it is important for you to know the ins and outs of running Facebook ads.

Here is a short guide to help you create and run your own Facebook ads:

Step 1: Create a Facebook Ads Manager Account

Facebook Ads Manager is a dashboard that allows you to run complex ad campaigns, review results, and analyze data

Step 2: Create Your Ad

2.a) Choose the objective of your campaign. Facebook can optimize for a variety of objectives.

2.b) Add your budget- you can do this either at the campaign or ad set level. 

2.c) Set the ad schedule- choose how many days your ad will run or at what times of day it will be shown to your audience

2.d) Select custom targeting options to reach your target audience so that you are not wasting ad budget.

2.e) Enter your ad creative (image, video, etc) and add your copy.
